A portion of my hobbies
I read philosophy to sit with difficult questions more slowly, and I follow books and series for the way they build worlds, reveal character, and let ideas unfold over time.
I am especially drawn to women's stories in books and to historical fiction in film: narratives that recover interior lives, social tensions, inherited silences, and the choices people make inside the constraints of their time.
This is a small reading room for that part of me: the books, essays, and stories that intrigue/excite me.
